Mari Korhonen is a doctoral researcher at Tampere University, faculty of Education and Culture. Her main research interests include the sociology and philosophy of education, civic engagement and adult education.
The main focus of her PhD research is on counter-conducts and alternative practices within adult education, and how these practices create space for alternative educational approaches and discourses in the field.
Korhonen has held the role of spokesperson for the Finnish Society for Research on Adult Education since 2024.
